I like mine really crispy.

And I can't go to Sonny's, that's sacrilege to a true BBQ fanatic like me.
You forgot to de-slime it (par boil it). The Cajun Cook said to.

I don't know anyone that does that if they're going to fry it. I've heard people do if they're going to bake it, but no self respecting Southerner is going to eat baked okra.

I only like it fried. Really crispy cornmeal on the outside with a nice crunch, and tender inside but not too green or mushy.

Boiled, pickled, in soups, gumbo, baked in something, etc.

OY My boss was getting on my nerves so bad this morning. Either at my desk or buzzing my phone, asking me for something every few minutes. I hate feeling like I can't get anything accomplished. He was supposed to fly to GA tonight for a hearing tomorrow, but that's been cancelled.

He was driving me so crazy, I asked him if he was sure he didn't want to go anyway so he could leave me alone, lol Good thing he has a good sense of humor....and understands mine.

Wasup TMSers? Still at work. Couple more hours and I get to go home with no power. Cold shower and a hot house. Yay.

Nope. Those are toadstools, frogs go to the bathroom under those when its raining, except big tall frogs, they go on top of them.
