There is a Denny's about 30 minutes away....not sure about TGI Fridays...We Have much better places that aren't chain restaurants but there are many of the chains here too.

The only thing I wish we had was some Diners....I miss Double T from the Baltimore area.

Yum...haven't been there since December. We stopped after we picked my son up from the airport when he came home on leave for Christmas. They just have soooo much on the menu, it's hard to choose

Yup, and open 24 hours! I used to live less than a mile from the one in Glen Burnie...that was convenient! We ate at the one in Annapolis on our last trip...we try to make that a definite stop at least once while up there...of course now Chaps is on that list too....you haven't been there yet have you?

Closest Double T is the one in Catonsville for me. And nope, haven't been to Chaps yet....it's just so darn far away. It's different when you are on vacation and have time to drive around to all of these places

Far away?!? Really? it's not far away, you just don't want to deal with the traffic It took me with traffic all of maybe 15 minutes to get there from where you work

I still wouldn't call that trip "vacation"....mabye "Obligation" is a better term

But I live about 1/2 hour in the opposite direction from work....so it's like a 45 minute drive for me from home.

And at least you managed to get away from your "obligation" by yourself while you were in this area

Wasup people? Power out at the house. Lots of rain here at work and home. The wind has been really tame here do far. My poor little oak tree is now leaning. Only thing I have jacked up so far.

You need to expand your circle... What's going to happen is the next time I go up there I'm going to have to kidnap you from work and take you there myself

Yes, I got a day away....next time I may have the truck and trailer which means there is no parking so I may have to drop off the wife and maybe ride out to Sykesville and stay with a friend...lol.

I really do need to get out more. I wish Mr. Jill wasn't such a stick in the mud lately. He never wants to go anywhere

I guess it will be a shame that you won't be able to stay with them next time, lol. I don't blame you, I'd rather be in Sykesville than Pikesville...any day. I wish I still worked there so I don't have to deal with the expressway anymore.
