I can understand that. At Matanzas inlet here I wouldn't go out on any holiday or summer weekend when school is out. So many people out there. It was like "where's Waldo?" lol

 

That's terrible. I can't even imagine going through it for one child, let alone two of them. Reminds me of when my kids were in high school. Brother and sister were driving together to take their ACTs and both were killed in a car accident. So sad

 

Hi everyone! It's been a crazy bunch of days. Hope everyone is doing ok and is safe. I know I missed a lot around here. But I got a chance to make some money on the side, so I ran with it. And now have to go back on tuesday again. The guys house I was doing was so cool. He has so many TOYS. He owns 57 acres of land. He even has his own Race track for Go-karts and ever races his Lambo around the track.

He is putting a Extension on his house


This is the Upper Garage and all the Stone work is done by his father who is in his 70's. He does each one by hand.

Yes the Lambo's are really cool. He also has a Audi with a lamborghini engine it. That's his Daliy driver.

It was my first time seeing stuff like that. I seen deer heads, But not the other stuff that he has.

Me neither until I walked into the room and was like OH this type of Game Room.

 

Wow, that's insane...in a good way.

 

Oh it's real. I think he bought that one. Because he was saying something about not being able to shoot them after a certain year in the 1960's. Does that sound right. I could always ask him again when I go back up if I remember.

 

Ha ha It sure is. I got to say, I got to see a lot of cool stuff in my life. For a House this takes the cake.

Ok onto some news that I recieved this morning.........




I am being forced out of Afghanistan due to the first part of my security clearance being declined. So with that said I am currently looking for another job. Also I have to be out of country within a week. So currently I am packing my stuff and getting it ready to mail home.

 

Just crazy, couldn't imagine that. If I ever get married again it going to be for money, lol.

 

Sounds like the new company is really screwed up. Good thing you're gettin' out of there and home to TN with your daughter and your horses!

 

Huh. What does the first part of your security clearance declined mean? Glad to hear you're getting out of there though.

Sucks Dirk! I'm pretty screwed work wise if I can't get my clearance too. I've seen folks get held up for years because of stuff in their family.

 

Yes this is the WORST company I HAVE EVER worked for. Im kinda glad I am leaving but at the same time I am like crap what am I gonna do now.

When you first submit the paperwork for it the company looks it over and then sends it up higher for a complete investigation. Well when the company sends it higher they would give you what is called a interim clearance until the investigation is done. Well I got the interim declined BUT they still sent my paperwork forward for the whole investigation.

Prolly the only thing good that is coming out of this is me coming home and getting to drink beer


I havent been home in over a year and so I dont know what to expect.

 

Yeah and the funny thign is this company thinks I am going to just sit by and wait for my clearance to get finished without recieving a paycheck lol
