I hate allergies and the older I get, the worse they are getting. The show sounds like fun. I wanted to go to OC for the show this weekend, but nobody to watch the dog. She could stay with us in my brother's place, but it's a 4 level townhome and she can't do steps like that with her old hips My brother in law is taking his 04 Mach 1 and told my hubby he could take his 67GTA if he wanted.
I posted a pic for you the other day of my cream of crab that I finally got I'm sorry you missed it!

The town nearest me (30 mi) has an Oregon Air Nat'l Guard Base that does training. Seems like during the early 2k's they were F-16's, and back in the 80's were F-4 Phantoms (a St. Louisan's favorite - McD Doug). But the last several years they are F-15's - last training base for 15's in US IIRC.
So at least once/week there's a mini-show with 4-5 up and about, doing touch and go's, pulling up in a hard bank, etc. Great to watch from the lounge at the airport, but the Basin is wide open so you can see them all around town.
Love it! Always wanted to learn to fly jets.

I grew up near Edwards AFB in CA, flight test center so I have seen a lot of different planes fly. Would love to get a ride along before I retire, but doubt I will end up somewhere I will have the chance. Last time I was in Germany I worked airfield lighting so we would be out on the runway when the 15s would do vertical take-offs. They would come screaming down the runway real low and then go stratight up think to about 10K feet. So much fun to watch!

haha. I'm definitely a big teddy bear, but I will step up to the plate on rare occasions...when someone crosses me [rubs chin]
