I try to talk to them at least twice a week too. Was going to bring them down here during spring break for a couple days, but they don't want to. Weather isn't supposed to be very nice, make it hard to do things. Working this shift and tomorrow, then I have three days off!

i think i am off of work wednesday, i am not working many days this week since my little brother is home from school and at 9 years old, he isnt old enough to be home alone yet...

tomorrow he will be home alone for 2 hours since i have to go in at 2 and mom doesnt get home till 345-4 but i am sure he will be fine, the other days i am closing which means i start at 5pm

I remember being on my own for a while with family/friends close growing up. Funny how much things have changed. Wouldn't think of letting the girls do some of the things I did that were no big deal.

Awww no Easter dinner at all?
I wish my kid would get his permanent barracks already so he can get settled and get the Internet hooked up so we can Skype. It would be nice to see him when I talk to him. He just got off 24 hr CQ shift and I guess he's missing everybody too. He updated his status "Enjoy this day with your families everyone. Think about the people that don't have their families to spend it with. Don't take it for granted"
You should try it Amie, the rolls and butter are the best part! I even dug up a recipe on the web and have made the butter myself before.......soo good
