hockey players can shoot the puck at an AVERAGE speed of 87mph and has exceeded 100mph even, so blocking a shot or receiving a pass(not to mention stoping a shot from an athlete trained to shoot at bare net) how difficult it is. as for skating hockey players can skate about 45km/h, and i can guarantee you that your baseball players cant come even close to that speed.
blocking is much easier than hitting a ball. if you take a goalie that is 6', put in a crouch at 4', and say 1.5' wide, that's a square area of 6' to block the puck. When a player has to hit the ball going 100mph, they've got a bat with a width max of 2.75" and realistically only 1' of length to make contact.
hockey is exceptionally difficult, and physical, and why I like it so much, but blocking 100mph puck is much easier to do (if not by sheer chance, say the puck hitting the goalie, instead of goalie intentionally blocking it) than it is to hit a 100mph fastball.

I do like hockey though but baseball is all about situations and a duel between two players knowing what that pitcher can do and what that batter can do. If the pitcher wins that battle, he faces another. If the batter wins that battle, it immediately turns into another battle depending on where the ball was hit. If one understands the game and the situations, theres nothing better.

just missed another one .. this is from the one that went thru buckhorn school .. lot of new damage down the same path as last years big storm . uncanny .. the other twister went less than a mile down my road .. i have`nt been able to get close enuff to shoot a picture .. a friends house was hit again .. same as last year

Well i would say to cherish the time you spend with your family. I havent been able to spend as much time as I want to with my daughter.
