I've been in retail for a while, and the only reason I have survived is because of where I work. Most people know what they want and are pretty understanding. Its even better now that I work in receiving so i don't have to deal with customers at all

i begged them to train me for the Cash Office (bookkeeping), nothing came out of it... i have been there for so long and it has gotten to the point where i could care less if i do my work or not since the morale of the whole store is down, management isn't the best...not to mention the pay is terrible so no one really wants to work...

They are, just seems backwards sometimes. I really can't complain about where I am, taking my girls up to the mountains to enjoy the snow this weekend.

I'm sure your family is happy that you aren't getting shot at. Of all the MOS's my son could have picked from, he wanted Infantry. I would prefer he picked a different MOS, but it's not my life to live.
