Floor is Ford Blue and walls are tan. But I'm not done with the walls. I need to paint some accent walls and stripes or something.

I knew I wanted red or blue on the floor.

But with the red cars I thought they'd pop better against the blue floor.

The checkerboard is cool and ive seen a good job in person and it was very cool. But hard to do. I've also seen crappy jobs that should have been painted over.

I also researched the heck out of epoxies for the floor after having the rustoleum epoxy and my last house and not liking it because it would lift off the concrete onto the hot tires after parking on it.

The key seemed to be the percentage of solids in the epoxy. The more solids the more it costs, and the harder it can be to install. It also makes a huge difference how thick it is when it dries and how much coverage you can get. The thicker it is the less it covers.

No, he needs the Ford blue oval on the wall. Print a pic of it on a transparency and have his wife bring home an overhead projector from the school, trace the image on the wall and paint it! A friend of mine did that with a big Winnie the Pooh on her nursery wall. Or a running pony.......or both. He has enough walls

Back in the 80's I hired a friend to paint a sign for my office roof. The parent company's logo was kind of complex with a lot of lines to get accurate. She used the overhead projector trick and it came out superb!
