But did you notice how big the circulation was??? It was huge across half the US and from Canada to the Gulf, and the center of circulation was over Minnesota/Wisconsin*. So the south just had the outer rings/arcs rotating across it that spawned all the twisters.
Man that is unsettling just watching it on tv!
(*or was it Nathan's house?
