I'll turn mine up as loud as they'll go without sounding bad quite a bit of the time. Most of it is on the freeway though when I'm going 70 with the windows down. Even when it's 40 degrees. Now I just want them to be able to get louder.

What exactly do you have for stock stuff? Did you put your car into the crutchfield thing to see what exactly fits. I was looking before and the fronts were 5x7/6x8 but the rears were something else. I couldn't remember what exactly you had though...

Hmm...that would be nice. Kinda big though. And I really don't get what the ohm rating for the kappas is. It's been two for the longest time, but now they're saying with the speaker wire it's four. Then after googling, people are saying it's closer to three. So how many watts would they be getting?
I keep telling you to test them with a meter. That'll tell you for sure.

It's all over the place. It's like all the color has been stripped of the world and I've been locked in a cold dark room.

Already got stuck. Backed my car up a few feet just to see how it would do, and I couldn't get it to move. Eventually found some old cardboard and managed to get it back up by the house.

From crutchfield referring to the Kappas:
Guess I'll go with the Boston amp as well.
These speakers are still rated at 2-ohms. The wording that Infinity wanted used can be confusing because, the speaker wire always changes the speakers impedance at the amp a little. Just pay attention to the 2 ohm rating on the amplifier because, nothing has changed.

Athens is a cool place, especially for young people. It's got your typical college town atmosphere (and problems), but at the same time its got old South charm. Downtown is Victorian era buildings and homes, beautiful. But its not "stuffy" like you expect from places like that. Great restaurants, cool bars, and the music scene is kick ***! And its just about an hour away from Atlanta, and if you can't find it in Atlanta, you can't find it.
