I think Ford's marketing department deserves some serious credit. The song, the car they chose, the backdrop, all just works perfectly. Good stuff, and I have come to love this band.

Thursday November 25th this year. We'll probably deep fry a turkey, if you've never had one you don't know what you are missing. It is out of this world.

This is actually my second Mustang, but the first one doesn't count.
First one was an 87, 4cyl 5spd that the engine blew a head gasket on just as I was trying to leave Florida. Put another engine in that was almost as bad as the first one, it made it to Virginia before it died and I sold the car.

I'm a black wheel fan, so I knew I wanted those with bigger tires.
I like my polished wheels a lot too, don't get me wrong, and I still have them should I ever get the urge to change it up. Only thing there is the finish on them is very hit or miss. The chrome isnt completely uniform, in some places it's nice and there, and on others it's just the aluminum without the chrome shine. I'm kind of OCD on that, it's either gotta be all great, or none.

Front wheels: Change the spindles to a '94 or '95 spindle. From there you can use any PBR brake setup. Mine were from a '99. Pick your pads and rotors. You need a spacer washer for the ball joint if you keep the fox a-arms, but I'm changing to the '94 A arm with '94 ball joint. Then theres the brake lines. Use the '94+ ones but there is an adapter nut needed on the passenger side.
Back wheels: Change axles. Put on custom brackets to hold new disc calipers. And mount up the brakes. Problem here is you have to crack open the pumpkin to remove the c-clips holding the axles in. Plus you have more brake lines to convert. Then after all that you will probably have to replace the master cylinder as it was designed for a much smaller front disc, rear drum setup. Most go with a 93 Cobra master cylinder. Some go with a 99 V6 master cylinder.

My buddy showed me a cool article he found on the local newspaper about cool old cars that are abandoned or sitting in various places and I saw one pic that caught my eye due to the rarity of seeing one here, and it's junked on a nearby town; a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
Of course, it isn't in that condition. I talked to my buddy that it could be used as a basis for an unusual and unique hot rod, since most of the trim is missing or damaged, and the drive train must be shot anyway. A loud, thumping & loping big block powerplant is a must Ah, the possibilities Then I googled some and found a very unique one.

What do you guys think about this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320600612213
One thing that is nagging at me is the fact that its had 3 owners, and it has been titled in AZ, IL, NC, then back to IL, then in SC (and has been reported at an auction in FL at one point.) Makes me a little uneasy.
