Speaking of your wife, Gary. Aren't you down to the last few weeks? What's the exact due date?

Due date is July 28th. She had a c-section scheduled for July 26th. The baby is big and ready to pop. Doctor said yesterday to make it a couple of more weeks for the lungs to fully develop and after that if she had labor pains they can take the baby safely.
Who knows?
It's the 6th kid. We have 5 girls now, and this one we did not want to know the sex before hand. We shall see.

I hate it. I already get very little sleep because the 2 year old doesn't really have a bed to sleep in so she climbs into ours. I usually leave for the couch. It's either that or get kicked in the back all night by tiny little feet.
I need my new house sooner than later.

That's a sticky situation. On one hand, I know as a dad you really want to have a boy. On the other hand, if it is a boy, he could end up being the biggest Nancy in Texas. 5 older sisters? He will literally be used as a living breathing baby doll. They'll have him in make up and dresses, make him serve them at little tea parties, use him to talk to boys for them, poor little guy won't stand a chance.
Then again, having 5 older sisters, he may learn so much about girls and how they think that by middle school he'll be able to manipulate the ladies into fulfilling his every desire. Another bad situation, unless Gary is ready to be a papaw.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

This has all been discussed by the wife and I. She is not a liberal or a feminist by any means. If it is a boy I am confident she will help me to raise him as a real man and not a fruit.
"Not that there's anything wrong with that."
