Cause I don't need some salesman breathing down my neck, acting like I'm just some dumb kid.
I just tell them my upgrade is coming in a few months and i'm checking out what I can get. Some will want to see if they can get you into the phone, but typically they leave you alone.

Since I check out the phone forums on a phone i'm interested in, I usually know more than the salesperson. If they try to make a sale, I start asking all sorts of questions they can't answer. Because most are idiots and have no passion for the product they sell, they get frustrated and move on to someone else.

Once I know what I want, I just order it online since the rebates are instant. The Droid was the first phone I bought in store in quite some time.

I've never seen nor heard of it. Other than MBQuart speakers of course. I'd imagine the amp is similar to the digital amps Infinity used to offer. But I have no basis for passing judgement on MBQuart electronics.

I was reading good things about them online last night, but I'm really not sure. By the way, I know you bought the infinity kappas for your vert. Are they 4ohms or 2ohms? I thought they were two, but I keep getting confused reading different descriptions.

They are two. I trust the Infinty owners manual on that one.

What does this mean?

True Four Ohms— All Kappa speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance “seen” by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Kappa Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit.

when a wire gets warmer it's resistence gets higher, meaning that when the voice coil heats up same thing it's rated as 2 ohm but when it heats up it is 4 ohm

Ok, thank you. Does that mean though that an amp puts out less power as the wires get warmer?
