I just find it so hard to believe that no company is making factory style smoked rear lamps for these cars.

I did find some smoked rear side light lenses & a smoked CHMSL at Nino Sport.
The duplicolor clearcoat I tried to use when I was practicing on my headlights was a big fail. The spray tint evidently was water based, though the label was in Japanese so I really wouldn't know. The spray can clear coat was a lacquer. The result was it tunred the spray tint crackly. So I had to sand it all back off and that is why I ran out. Otherwise one can would do the front headlights and front markers, and another can would do the 5 rear lights. As long as they are light to medium coats.

I read somewhere on the web that there's something similar to VHT nightshades, but made from Testors, yes that's right, model car paint. Black window tint I think it was called. I used that to smoke the windows of a 69 Chevelle SS I have laying around. It's a very light shaded stuff.

I wish crutchfield still sold the q-logic enclosure that you could switch back and forth between sealed and ported.

So seeing how I don't know that much about this stuff. What are the +'s & -'s of ported/sealed sub box?

Ported = loud, boomy bass
Sealed = tight, accurate bass

Neither is really better than the other, it just depends on how you want it to sound.

Is there a disadvantage to drilling holes in a sealed box to port it?

Some sealed boxes aren't big enough to be ported. Most subs require bigger boxes if they are to be ported.
