Any kind of interest in the job market??
I haven't been doing too much. Just browsing for jobs and applying to ones that sound like they would work for me with no luck. I'm on my first unemployment extension now so i'm good thru February so far.

The good news is a friend of mine wants me working where he works. Him and his boss both worked with me at the UTC company, so the connection for getting in is good. Two hurdles to go through though... someone needs to get fired and a contract needs to be renewed. Just got word yesterday that the firing is going to happen Monday, and while not definate, the contract is looking good for a renewal. So it's looking good so far.

That lettering is way cool isn't it! Can you imagine that car has less than 1000 miles on it

Yup... Gotta build up the Mustang fund again. The lease is up in March! I've wiped that fund paying for the daily driver and haven't added to it in 8 months!

I wonder when it was built? It's one of the newer continuation cars. (CSX4000 series).

I reread the details. You are correct, it is a continuation car #4199. It states that "It is titled AS a 1965 car"

quoted from description
"\\The gorgeous Silver Mink finish is a period-correct actual original S/C comp car color... and stunning! This car has logged only 960 miles. It’s titled as a 1965 Shelby Cobra and comes with the bronze Shelby plaque and the original MSO signed by Carroll himself. Under the hood: an original Ford 427 side-oilier, aluminum heads with the big 1.75" and 2.19" valves, Comp Cams solid roller rockers, spacers and stands, correct LeMans bowl carb and turkey pan.|||

I think they just finished the 4000 series this year (CSX4999) after about 20 years, and are building series 6000 now. I do love that color on that one though.

As far as I know, its just the chassis designation/serial number. You can buy the chassis/body/suspension and complete it however you like (engine/tranny/rearend/brakes) or have them build it. I think you can even specify the body in fiberglass, aluminum, or even carbon fiber now. The difference between them and the various kit companies is that they are Shelby produced (they used new old stock parts until it ran out) and serialized, and they are still titled as a 196? Shelby Cobra on the MSO (Manufacturers Statement of Origin) because it is a continuation of a line of cars that they built as a manufacturer, even though it was 40 years ago.

Most of it is in here toward the bottom.

They are both being clubbed by Norwegians.

What’s the difference between a car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a ball 400 yards.

Elin found out he’s not a Tiger, he’s a Cheetah.

Elin Nordegren got hired today as a consultant. She’s teaching Phil Mickelson how to beat Tiger.

Tiger said the fault of the accident was his Escalade. It’s typical of a golfer—always blame the caddy.

What was Elin Nordegren doing out at 2:30 in the morning? She was clubbing.

Why was Tiger in such a hurry at 2:30?
He was late getting to the next hole.

Tiger woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn't decide between a wood or an iron.

Tiger Woods won't be playing any more tournaments this year. However, I'm sure he will get in some holes here and there.

why can't they just have metal bodies? they're so much easier to work on!...got a dent? bang that **** out, rust? cut it out and replace it, wanna customize it? why go right ahead!

nope

The snow west of us will turn to rain when it crosses Interstate 45 and the rain will dissipate before it reaches us
