Couple questions:

1. How much difference would I notice with a CAI? Is it worth it, or should I wait? (no tune required) I'd like more power, but it might not be worth it in the winter.

2. How much difference would 50wrms more to my front speakers make? Would it be a lot louder? They're pretty loud already, but I'd like them to get even louder.

I'm either wanting a better amp for the GT, or a Trickflow (K&N) CAI. I'm gonna hold off on the HU until it goes on clearance.

The CAI isnt worth it. Especially a K&N. CAI's make about the same amount of power and that isnt much, may 5 hp at most. One thing you can do that will free up some power is take off the silencer on the air box. It's connected at the bottom of the air box and goes into the fender, take that off and you have yourself basically a CAI.

As for the other stuff, lets just say audio is not my forte.

Nathan, I have a feeling another 50 watts to the front speakers would make them quite a bit louder...

So today at walmart, saw this pretty sweet deal. It's a Sony HU just like the one I'm looking at for $100 dollars. But this package is the HU, 2 6.5 inch speakers, and 2 6x9 speakers, for $90. It's on the christmas list now

Sounds like a good deal. Just beware walmart doesn't have the greatest reputation for aftermarket sounds systems. Check them out on other sites as well, and read some reviews.

Well I started to ask who that ugly chick in the back was, but I was afraid it might be his girlfriend or sister.

They're all Sony XPlod equipment, not walmart brand. Look at Ed's link, he found it

I would say get one off of ebay. 50 bucks and will do the same thing as the K&N and will give you the cool sucky sound.
