I was just curious about the cooling efficiency of each. How much cooling does the stock radiator actually do for the tranny oil? Is an aftermarket external tranny oil cooler 100% more efficient. 50% more. 10% more.
External ones are a lot more efficient, like 30%+, depending on it's size. 18,000lbs it's the most often used on our applications.

I think a good aluminum after market radiator with a quality electric fan set up on it would be plenty. FRPP makes one for an auto, but it has plastic tanks which I don't like. Fluidyne has one with aluminum tanks for an auto, it's about $100 more than the FRPP but they make good stuff and I think it would be worth it and be plenty for the build you are going for. Sweet kit.
I have heard that complete aluminum radiators tend to crack on the end tanks on street applications on hot climates like the ones we see here, plastic is more tolerable in those situations.

I'm getting a 130 amp alternator for stereo reasons and as a result I also want to do away with the stock fan and fan clutch and get either a large thermostatically controlled single or double electric fan for the radiator too.
Go with a Contour v6 dual fan setup and you'll save a few bucks. It's almost a bolt on.

Plus having the x-pipe in the 2007 (I know a completely different engine and exhaust setup) I like the h-pipe sound a little better from what I have been able to hear over the years in person. I can always change it later I guess.
H pipes are awesome! I know.

Actually since I couldnt serve in the Army anymore due to medical probs. I decided to come out here and support them in the only way I know how.

I had to skip both of my classes today. I was sitting in my first class, and I started getting a horrible migraine. I started feeling really sick to my stomach so I got up and left. I eventually dropped my paper off at my other class, and came home and took a long nap. I feel better now, but my head it still somewhat sore. Stupidness.

This guy is an embarrassment to the mustang community. It's like he thinks he's god because he has a shelby. I so want to chew him out, but I'd probably get banned in the end. Go buy a BMW you smuck!

The new member may have knocked some sense in the gt500 owner. Now I don't care that its called a GT500 because it looks good but I do agree that CS only did it for the money and the man who did most of the work (Coletti) receives little or no credit. GT500 owners should stop behaving like snobs

I'm alive.

Oh man that was long and boring. Thank God for the big tub of popcorn and the free refill.

It was literally 300 housewives, 4 of my kids, and me in there.
