Roush Reveals Horsepower for Stage3 Mustang
#21
The 2015 Stage 3 cars have been out. A pretty loaded Stage 3 car will cost you close to 67k/68k.
The Phase 2 kit is an add-on or you can have it done before picking up the car at the dealership, to keep the warranty. The Phase 2 comes out in about 7 weeks or so.
The Phase 3 is not available yet.

So, a well known Roush dealership has dyno'ed a 2015 Roush Stage 3 Phase 1 car the other day. The results,......697HP and 566 lbs. of TQ at the crank. Whether this is true or not, I'm not sure. (Just going by what the video states here.)

For all you Roush car lovers,....some awesome, awesome news.
The Phase 2 kit will be out in a couple of weeks, making it's debut at this year's SEMA. I am told that there is in fact going to be a Phase 3 car which, how I read it, "will be a strong Phase 3". This will be down the line sometime.
Then, I read that "potentially" a Phase 4, which will be the first ever Phase 4 on a Roush car may be in the works down the line. This phase will require heavy engine work/shortblock work.
So, we shall see. All good things.

The new Roush supercharger is no joke.
One of the guys on the other forum with a automatic 2015 Mustang GT ran in the 10's with a trap speed of over 130 MPH. Not sure if/what other mods were involved yet. Waiting for a reply.

Wow...very impressive. Im scheduled with Roush to have my 15 GT auto fitted with their Phase 2 supercharger kit...won't be until 2 June though 😕. Guys at Roush have been great to work with and obviously very knowledgeable. The drive to Detroit will be part of our summer vacation and we'll get to tour the Roush facilities and see the Henry Ford museum.

We spotted Jack Roush Snr's Stage 3 at the Roush Collection. Checkout the subtle P51 badge
There are so many cool cars in his collection.
Boss 429 (number 429, too!)
And others....

I like that '67 Cougar. A '67 Cougar was one of my aunt's first cars....she got it in the late 1970's and kept it until the early 2000's. She still regrets selling it but she wanted a motorcycle at the time.

A few more from my visit
Then there was this......parked out the front of the main Roush facility where they build the road cars. It was a weekend, so the place was shut, but I'd love to get a tour. I don't normally "dig" red Mustangs.......but it looks so right here

Wow,...............now that is impressive! Very impressive. Stock engine and stock weight.
I wonder how much besides the wheels/tires are changed? I assume halfshafts, driveshaft, clutch, possibly the transmission.
