Thanks... I meant the seats, but that's ok...

Shame you're in PA, if you'd do that for a reasonable price, I would be seriously interested in it... but I'm in TX, that is not close.

A local dealer has one and wants 10k over sticker, and that is just crazy IMHO.

Would it be a crime to put white stripes on it?

Ahh, just noticed it is a manual... bleah... never mind...

Get me one with an auto, I'll be happier.

My dealership in Pensacola, FL is "charging" a $20,000 exclusivity markup. No thanks.

In truth, I suspect the number of people who want to buy one, even at sticker, is slim.

What does it REALLY offer over the normal GT, besides a nice color and a number plate?

Not knocking it, just saying that the demand for a $50K mustang might be slim.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again. If you want a factory Performance Pack with an Automatic in the new Mustang, the LE was the only option. The Auto version may turn out to be more valuable in the long run because of it.

Yes, that is true... but the one he is selling is manual...

Besides, do you honestly not think the PP will be manual only for 2016?

My personal stance, however, is that every time someone cries "dealers shouldn't be allowed to charge over MSRP" I can't help but agree as long as that means we don't have to give anything away for less than MSRP. It's a two-way street.

Ford has spent the last decade or so squeezing the gap between dealer cost and MSRP, so margins are shrinking quickly. Customers continue to want bigger and bigger discounts all the time. Vendors keep charging us more and more for their services at an alarming rate. Car dealers used to make a fortune once upon a time. My, how the tide has turned.

More than just semantics, MSRP is simply a suggestion from the manufacturer - hence the term "manufacturer's SUGGESTED retail price. Profit is not a dirty word. Dealers are not charities. And, when a dealer asks for more than MSRP, most consumers are smart enough to negotiate a transaction price that both parties agree to.
I must say that I found the business model discussion very interesting as well as entertaining and I what you said about dealers use to make a fortune maybe true.

This came straight from the horses mouth, no pun intended Charliehorse, a veteran salesman told me once ever since the rebates were offered the commission on that sale has taken a serious setback meaning more volume has to be moved to make a living. Whether this is true or not only the sales people can say.

There is alot of 50th anniversary corvettes with low miles and mint condition that can be had for a great deals.
Just wait. Lots of cool cars coming down the pipe. There will be great deals for all.
Low mile Bosses and Shelbys are starting to surface as well
Is a new Mach I next up for dealer gouging?

So the dealership that I bought my car from has 2 and they are both listed over 75K. LOL. Really? 40K mark-up. Craziness. I wanted one but now unless I find a deal there's no way. In case anyone wanted a look. Lugoff Ford in Lugoff, SC.

My local dealer marked up the first s197's by about $6K. I told him I could wait. Of course I waited until 2012 to get my '13 and I went to Atlanta to get it.

Seriously? $20K ADM is cheap? Our 2013 GT500 is somewhere between 1 of 1 and 1 of 7 cars with our color combination. We ordered it & paid MSRP.
