Corvette or Mustang? Tough call, but Ford is hitting back harder than ever in the fight for America’s classic muscle car.

Uhhhh no. Sorry, not yet. Mustang is getting heavier and the aluminum/plastic attempts are bubbling up with corrosion. I just offloaded a '15 Roush to finally buy a C7. After 5 Mustangs two words came to mind as soon as I drove the C7, "modern" and "refined". Made me feel like the S550 was old. Ford is adding some comparable "gadgets" but $52K for a Mustang GT, sorry they're going the wrong way. I tried like hell to buy a GT350 but the ADM was a deal breaker. I've never even been able to test drive a GT350 (and an R? ****e no) but I'm willing to bet that's a better comparison.

Yeah, not sure why we would be comparing the Mustang to the Corvette; they are very different cars which is most obvious if you look over your right shoulder from the driver's seat.
Wouldn't it make more sense to compare to the Camaro?

I agree, this article is taking comparing apples to oranges to a higher level. These are two completely different cars for different taste. I have each, and wouldn't even try to compare them. However, new 1LT Corvette C7 coupe can be had for close to the price of a Mustang GT these days. But, they are still two totally different cars.
