Aftermarket Activ Exhaust

Hi everyone,
I just picked up my 2018 GT. I added the performance pack with the intentions of it having the active exhaust option. After I left, I found out it was not. It's only an $895 option, which I have no problem doing, but I'm afraid that I'm going to spend double that for it to be added. Anyone know of anything other than the Roush option that's $1,600+ just for the parts?

Thanks,
Dave

you may want to start with a resonator delete x pipe. You can pick up a hi quality one for less then 200

Ok. Thanks for the response. I did some research...X pipe vs H pipe? They say the X pipe give a raspier sounds and the H pipe gives a classic muscle car growl. I'm not sure if I want a drag car sound as this is my every day driver. Any insight on this?

It is a personal preference. The car come with a H pipe resonator, so if you want to keep that basic sound with just a little deeper tone and a little more volume then the resonator delete pipe is the way to go. ,
