What does the "DSP" setting on the audio system do?


I do not have the vehicle yet, but was reading through the owner's manual and was curious ...

Digital Sound Processing? It seems to me like it acts like equalizer presets. My '13 has 3 settings. Drivers Seat, Convertible, and one other I can't remember.


The feature I like is Speed Compensated Volume (SCV). It automatically increases volume as car goes faster and lowers it as you slow down. I find that I don't have to fool with the volume as often once I figured out which setting on the SCV to use.
