I just received my new 2016 Mustang and set my Gauge and Ambient colors to my liking. Thought all was well until the next night run and low and behold, they had defaulted back to white. Didn't have this problem with my 08'. Am I missing a step to save the color so it will be there the next time I drive it at night?? Appreciate some assistance if anyone can help me on this.

Do you have memory seats? I'm not 100% positive, but I had the same problem because I set the memory seat to remember my key fob. Mine didn't default to white though, it went back to the color I set it to when I set my memory seat. Try playing with the settings. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks, I will try that. I even talked to Ford CS and they had no idea how to do this. My dealer is still trying to find out. Again, thanks.

That solution makes perfect sense, because in 2016 to get ambient light u must add 401A package equipment aka memory seats, blis mirrors, 12 speakers.. Not surprized memory seats would go with the ambience

 

Not true. The GT Premium comes with ambient lighting standard.

Not sure if the V6 would have this. but if it exists on your car the owners manual is where to look.
