2016 Mustang are rolling down the assembly line

Looks like the 2016 Mustang have starting rolling down the assembly line. They started in the beginning of August. I run the GTCSregistry and I have found 62 2016 GT/CS's so far.

Nothing major really. It has SYNC 3 and there are blinkers in the hood vents like the 67-68 models. Other than that I believe it is just color options. They also brought back the California Special as well as some other packages. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Another 2016 option is the blackout theme, black pony, 5.0 and GT badges.

I'm probably picking up a '15 tomorrow before this deal evaporates...my usual guy at local dealer is out today, but hoping to put a nice GT in my garage tomorrow evening.

Congrats! I already ordered my '16.. but was seriously considering going with a '15 because of the deals going on right now. But I decided to stick to my guns because I really want that SYNC 3.. call me crazy ha

I'm in the same boat as you. I wasn't going to stick with SYNC 2, because I'm hoping that they bring Android Auto into SYNC 3 within a reasonable timeframe.

I ordered on 31-AUG, got word that I have a VIN on 11-SEP, and my build is scheduled for the week of 21-SEP. Here's hoping that she's delivered the first week of October!

Cheers!

I took delivery of the 2016 Sept 14th. I am getting Sapphire V1 applied to it and I get it back tomorrow. It is a really great product and will post pics when I get it back. Hope you guys get yours soon! It's worth the wait!

**** Man that's awesome! I have to admit I'm envious. I ordered on 20 Aug and I'm pushing the month mark with zero anything. Thank you for your post about Deysha. She has been amazing. Other than her I have nothing but a piece of paper. What else are you going to do to her? The first thing I'm going to do is add two oil/air separators. One for each side. Followed by the steel works retro cat backs.

Ya Deysha is a life saver! I plan on working up to everything I had on my '14. Oil separators, Stainless works LT headers, Borla S-Type, Airaid CAI. I am probably only doing lowering springs and not the whole suspension set up I had on the '14. I don't think this one needs it (being it is IRS). Maybe sway bars...but I don't plan on tracking it so I don't see the point. It will be never ending.... I can't not mod something...it's in my blood.
