I got mine fixed 2 days after the parts were ordered. They may be on backorder by now due to everyone getting theirs fixed

My dealer ship won't fix mine because the bulletin says for performance brake pack only, anyone else have this issue?

I tried explaining that to the ford dealer and they said if they did the work and sent the claim in it would get kicked back and I would have to pay for it because I don't have the pp

Chuck,

The tsb says its for the 4 piston. If you don't have the brembo package on the 5.0 then that tsb is for you.

Actually, if you read it correctly, it states under Issue: "Some 2015 Mustang vehicles equipped with the 5.0L OR the 2.3L EcoBoost with performance package built on or before 2/11/2015 may exhibit a front break squeal condition. These vehicles are equipped with four (4) piston front brake calipers."

What that boils down to IMO is: 5.0L without the PP (4 piston calipers) or EcoBoost with PP (also 4 piston calipers) is on the TSB. If it were for the PP 5.0L, it would state 5.0L with performance package (6 piston Brembo)

So, since you do not have the 5.0L with PP, you car is covered by this TSB.

While it's perfectly fine for you to misunderstand the TSB since you are not a Ford technician or service rep, but unfortunately if the dealer you're visiting completely misunderstands the TSB, then you should start using a different dealer or ask for a different service rep. The TSB clearly states what is covered, and the previous couple of posts clarify what's covered.

Well that's what I told them and they got pissed at me, so I went to my buddy from high school he is the manager and his family owned the dealership, I explained to him how I am on here and speaking with the lady with ford. I expressed frustration with the guys in the back who keep telling me the part number and vin number will kick the work order back and I will have to pay $1100. He asked me not to keep calling ford as it makes them look bad, and he said even if it's kicked back I won't have to pay anything.

So I went to the back to order parts and set a date to fix, they schedualed me trouble shoot apt not a part swap! I told them they they will put the parts from the TSB on my car because everyone online has them and they are fixing the issues for them. They then said no they won't, if they get the parts and it's not an exact match or fit they won't install them and I am back at where I started, (a little ticked) I said well then I am more than sure you will put the brembo kit on for free. The manager of the service area said he will call me when he can order the parts to bring it in for the attempted swap.

I finally got notification today that the parts for this TSB have arrived for my performance package Mustang 5.0 GT, 6speed (with Brembo, 6 piston fronts). So they want me to schedule a time to do the repairs.

By the way, this is from an email sent to me about the parts (back on March 30th 2015):
The technical bulletin 15-0030 for the concern you mentioned that your experiencing the parts are on National back order. Ford Is out of stock . These part are now being ordered by VIN specific . Which means when the part become available they labeled for your car only..

When I read the TSB posted here, I too was puzzled because to me the V8 GT with PP did not seem to be included in the TSB description (V8 PP has 6 piston fronts not 4 piston) - I thought maybe it was a typo. But when Ford got my VIN#, they said it was included too. I hope this information is useful...

Man, I hope you're kidding. There's no reason to get up to such a speed to heat the brakes up. 2 or 3 aggressive stops from 60 will get the brakes up to operating temps much more safely and without possible causing fade or glazing the pad. Even then this is not a fix.

I have a 2015 GT Premium, built 11/18/14. The picture of the TSB says it's for 5.0 or EB with Performance Package. I don't have the performance Package. Does this mean mine wont be fixed under this TSB?

Since you do not have the performance package, this actually should apply to your Mustang. If I am correct, the EB with PP uses the same front rotors as the GT Premium without the PP.

The part number listed on the fordparts.com site shows that the EB with Premium brakes and the GT without premium have the same part number - 1125 (BRRF-241) - so I would assume that the non-PP GT would be covered. Just my thinking on it though.

my 2015 sqeaks

I noticed the squeak and thanks to this forum someone said ford has a TSB 30-0015... service bullitin.
Well I had my 2015 gt since April 1st. Today is 6/02/2015... the dealer replaced all 4 pads and rotors under that TSB30-0015. I HOPE THE TSB NUMBER IS CORRECT.

2015 mustang G TPP

I apologize if someone has said this already but I couldn't find it when I was going back though the forums. I have a 2015 Mustang GT with the Performance Package, under 1000 miles and I now get a ridiculous squeal. Am I covered under a tsb somewhere?
