You have to be inside the car to hear the engine through the radio. Then you might like it.

Wow, was this website bought out by TMZ? Imagine a car company training a dealer to sell an all-new car. Things must really be going wrong!!! Everybody freak out!!!

Man, I wish Ford would have given us dealers spiffs on EB F-150's! We'd have made a killing as we were selling about 65% of our F-150's with the EB in the first couple of years it was available. Now the tides have turned and we're selling about 65% of our F-150's with the 5.0L V8 instead.

Is that because people are seeing the true mileage and longevity of the EB trucks? I know the couple of dealers around here were saying they had months where Ford would really push the EBs and give extra spiffs to the dealer for selling the EB over a 5.0...

That was my thought from the F150 posts I've read.

The 4 banger is going to sell like hotcakes once the price normalizes and they begin being sold on the used market. It will be one of the sexiest 4cyl out there..an excellent 'get around car' for many. It will be like the 4th gen redux(lord knows I see about 8 of those every day).

Hung out with a bunch of my asian buddies yesterday. We're all car guys, though they're mostly partial to Subarus (3 of them have STIs). The guy who was having the birthday told me he absolutely loves the 2015 Mustang. Go figure right? Haha

Well, as the happy former owner of an Escape with the EB, I can attest to the 1.6 not getting anything near the advertised fuel economy. And it spent a lot of time in the shop for various recall/customer 'notification' work. That'll do it for me and EcoBoost... if I ever get over my general displeasure with Ford enough to consider ANY vehicle from them again.

I currently have a 2013 SHO with the 3.5L Twin Turbo set up. I am very happy with this car. We have over 21,000 trouble free miles on it. As for the MPG, I average 23-24 on Mid-Grade, 10% Ethanol, around town. On a recent trip to Colorado, I averaged 29.8 mpg, while driving on I-25, in Wyoming at 80 mph (Legal limit in WY).

The EchoBoost engines love tunes, although I don't have one since I have a FORD ESP. However, several companies put them out and I don't doubt there will be one for the Mustang very quickly. There is an EchoBoost Performance Forum. Here is the link, for this interested in this engine:

Is this headline a joke? The only one freaking out is whoever wrote the headline. Ford will sell a boat load of these and for those want the cheapest option the v6 is there for now.

How many were return customers stepping out of the EB trucks and into the V8 trucks?

The EB Mustang is going to be a game changer, remember that this is being sold worldwide and for someone who's been all around the world I can personally attest that the 4 cyl will sell more, especially in Europe when Taxes are affected by the displacement of the motor.

Look at MRT, they already have a full exhaust and if you've ever had the privilege of seeing them build their exhausts you wouldn't hesitate to get one. http://www.hypermotive.com/mrt-compl...m-15-ecoboost/

Paired with the JMS chip and they're seeing 320+ Torque to the wheels.... very impressive. Only time will tell until we see companies pushing the envelope on how much power these motors can handle.

I was against the 4 cylinder at first but the more I see the hype and look at the possibilities I actually wouldn't mind getting one.

Easy y'all... It sounds like a normal car that needs an exhaust system.

And TMS, Ford is NOT freaking out.... so quit freaking out.

It sounds really good on MotorTrend's tests.
It actually has a little Mini Cooper sound to it. You can hear the engine more than the exhaust, which Mustang fans aren't usually found of (hint FlowMaster cult). Plus that BOV sounds awesome under the hood of a Mustang. I am curious to see what tuners pull out of it and what Borla and MagnaFlow... hec, maybe even Greddy and HKS can do with it.
