Are you in SoCal? I have a bunch of springs in hand. Full sets of Boss, Brembo, P, and the 55D rears. The P's are currently mounted and everything else is loose at the moment.

I am in Michigan. I'll pay for return shipping and post the results. I could even video the test. Really want to test the front Boss or Brembo pack spring. PM me.

This thread puts the **** in analyze. You guys are putting way too much thought into spring rates when springs are such a small component in the handling. You guys are racing mustangs for fun. The better driver will smoke you with stock springs.

...such a small, insignificant part of handling.

But you are partly right. I would smoke you with my stock Brembo springs...

I'd do it if I were selling and just try to find a buyer on your end. I'll let you know if I decide to sell any of it.

Anybody know of a shop that can test spring rates on the west coast?

This testing of P springs seems pretty definitive to me...heavier rates in the front.

And nobody knows the actuall spring-rate of the rear brembo springs?

The 55D guy said he tested them before manufacturing the 55D, but anyone else verify this?

I would go with the 55D guy, why would he go to all the trouble to produce / market and sell aftermarket springs and not confirm the actual spring rates of the item he is selling?
Give these guys some credit they are trying to help, I can't imagine they would provide inaccurate info on thier products intentionally.

Amazing to me that all else being equal, p springs are setup to understeer compared to Steeda sports. Yet the p springs feel more balanced to me. Wonder if its the different ride heights and relative wheel rates

Maybe because one is linear and the other progressive, IDK.
