Tools Needed. Big Build Starting

Ok I am getting ready to transform my 2014 Mustang GT into something I have always wanted. But I need to know what special tools, if any to by and what tools make the job easier.

Suspension: Springs Sway bars. Should I buy adjustable Plates? If so who's?

Exhaust, Wheels, Sifter?

After all is done I want to put a super charger or Turbo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nice! I look forward to seeing the build thread. I'd recommend a long, skinny ratcheting wrench set. Helps with the exhaust hangers.

What are your plans for the car? Will this be a track beast or a dream street toy/ drag car?

I have the Steeda HD plates, and I love them. I've been running -2 deg of camber with them and they have held up great, with no increase in NVH.

Speaking of exhaust hangers, I had a heck of a time getting the isolators off the muffler. After the job was done I found out this exists:

Good impact, ratcheting box wrenches with flexible heads, big breaker bars (maybe a pipe for leverage too), 10/15/18mm sockets and box wrenches, MGW X Spec shifter.

It would help if we knew how you planned to use the car, but here goes. Most of what you are planning on doing can be accomplished with basic hand tools. You will need quality socket set, combination wrenches, breaker bars, torque wrench etc. A good impact wrench will make removal easier. The few specialty tools that are needed can often be rented/borrowed from chain auto parts stores to avoid buying something that is only occasionally used.

Suspension:
Do not forget quality shocks and struts that match the rate of the springs you choose. My suspension is mostly Steeda with Koni shocks/struts. Everything works well together. The only specialty tool you will need is a coil spring compressor to safely remove the springs from the front struts. You can avoid this by buying new rubber spring isolators and leaving the old struts and springs assembled.

Exhaust:
It depends on if you are looking at axle back, cat back, or full header set up. Everyone has an opinion on what sounds best. Try to listen to as many set ups as you can and pick what sounds best to you. Internet sound clips help, but try to find someone who has a car with the setup you are considering. Sound clips on the computer do not give you a real sense of the volume. You really don't need any specialty tools here.

Wheels:
Again everyone has an opinion on what looks best. Pick wheels that you like. If you want the ability to rotate tires to increase life, keep a square set up. If you like the staggered look go for it. Consider forged wheels to reduce unsprung weight.

Shifters:
Again there are a lot of opinions here. I don't think you can go wrong with MGW,
Barton, or Steeda. Again no specialty tools needed.

I do not have any experience with forced induction, so I can't chime in on super charges or turbos.

Sorry this is so long, but the OP was asking a lot of questions.

You'll need a torque wrench in 1/2 and 3/8 and you might as well invest in mechanics gloves and box of latex gloves.
