I know. I don't really care much. Not too many places I really HAVE to worry about speed limits where I live.

Understood . But why not? They aren't more expensive or less expensive. It's the click of a mouse to change it from 40 to 35.

Might as well get the "correct" size.

I wanted a little more meat under my car. With the suspension mods I plan to do it will even it out between slot car feel and roller skates. Good thing you can adjust the speedo with a SXT3.

True you could adjust it. But "meat" wise, the 285's are more.

Have you found any tires that are as good or better?

What would you recommend?
where you are, climate, road conditions etc should factor in your choices as well. Do you live in the heat of arizona, the wet of the pacific northwest or the dry and harsh midwest of Illiniois etc. Climate will affect how fast a tire warms up, dries up, and sticks. I spoke to my local tire shops about what was preferred for my location and climate among other car enthusiasts. Ended up with Nitto Invos.

I like the idea of the 285 on the BBP wheels, but in reality, you'd be hard pressed to find one that would be ideal for our wheels. Straight line performance may see improvements, but at the expense of handling. From everything I've seen and read, 275's are as wide as you'd want to go on these wheels if the expectation is great cornering feel and performance.

What is the widest tire you can run on a 2013-2014 with brembo wheels and a 1" lowering spring, I have heard 275 up to 295.

Dat be de troof dependin' on da tire specs, chile', but yo' tires - they be gonna roll over on dem rims like a old dog gettin him belly scratched. Sorry I just had some Cajun seasoning (from back home) on my eggs. Gets me every time.
