Spherical or Poly Bushings For LCA'S
Spherical or Poly Bushings For LCA'S
I'm looking to upgrade my LCA'S when i get home just alittle stomped on which Bushing i should go with. My Car is not a daily driver but i do take her out on road trips and trips around town. It's been lowered 1.7 in the front and 2" in the rear i'm just looking to elimanate the wheel hop. I don't track it can you guys help me out with my lack of knowledge between the two and which one i should go with..

From what I have heard/read unless you going to make a dedicated track/strip car you will probably want poly bushings. I believe spherical bushings can be very harsh/noisy, though poly bushings do tend to squeak.
Poly bushings. They won't squeak very much if you lube them correctly on install, and they are way more practical for the street. Less noise, better ride, and they last a whole lot longer. Spherical bearings are made for track cars, not street cars. If you want to be a boy racer you can go for it, but there's no sense in paying more money for a worse ride, noisy suspension, and then having to replace the spherical bearings every year or two.
