Repaired today.
Just got the TSB done today, and the car is as quiet as a church mouse. Here's to hoping it stays that way. Repairs, plus alignment took approx. 2 1/2 hours. I have to say I'm very glad that my service dept. folks don't come up with some of the off the wall stuff a few of you are experiencing. If only all service dept.'s would work that way.

I had this latest TSB # 13-7-08 performed last week. I was lucky in that I asked my dealer about this a few weeks ago, and they got on the list of the back-ordered 'LCA kit'. So far, so good.
Ps: I did not have any of the previous TSBs for this issue done, just this latest one with the new 'heat shields'.

I just found a decent dealer here so I have to try and get this done or at least ask about it to see what they say. Sounding like a 1967 Coupe De Ville when I go over speed bumps isn't cool.

It's hard to say Pony, but with the problems many are having one would think Ford would revise the LCA's in the new builds. One thing for sure, if they didn't you will know soon. Good luck.
My service advisor called yesterday to let me know that all the parts for TSB 13-7-8 had arrived, so I dropped off the wife's stang this morning. It should be ready sometime tomorrow.
Thanks again Deysha!
Now is probably a good time to drive my 2013 in this heat to see if it makes the same noises.

Just follow the link to a .pdf of the TSB that was posted earlier in this thread. It accurately describes the sound. You'd know if your stang had this problem by just driving it on a hot day. Clearly you haven't heard the noise.

The squeak in your back seat is a different matter that I'm not sure about.

Picked up the wife's stang from our Ford dealer last night, and so far all front-end noises are gone.
Unfortunately, the Technical Service Bulletin doesn't include aligning the front-end after replacing the suspension components. Now our car's steering wheel is no longer centered when driving on a straight and level surface, so the front-end is no longer properly aligned. I need to get this corrected asap. I can't believe they didn't do an alignment!
Below are a couple photos taken from under the hood showing the new hydro bushings with their shields protecting them from the intense heat of the adjacent catalytic converters.

oh man, this might be my problem!
for the past 3 weeks whenever i go over speed bumps, regardless of speed, i hear this horrible sound, like someone's opening a 200year old door lol. I also felt the vibration when it squeaked/creaked.

SoFlaBoss, thanks for the pics. I haven't even looked since I got the Wifey's home. I surely hope these shields don't just transfer the heat to the LCA's causing the same problem. I guess time will tell. Fingers crossed.

Hope the dealers get you both fixed up soon.
URW. The Shields should work. I know 05 and 06 (maybe 05-10) S197 had the shields and they were quiet. Not sure why they discontinued using them.
