Update

Steeda has supplied me with a new set of ball joints and asked me to return the other pair. I guess I'm changing ball joints today!

Okay, got the ball joints in. With the suspension loaded (via jack stands on the k member) I wiggled and moved the wheel around simulating a steering input and I saw no visible movement. I will take it to the shop (Ford this time) for an alignment and see what they say.

One thing that I did notice was how easy the X11's pressed out of the control arms. Both of them. The stock ball joints really took quite a bit of force and some creative extension combinations on my breaker bar to make it bearable but the X11's pressed out rather easy. I did check for movement in the control arm "well" prior to removal but didn't notice anything.

I will be shipping back the original X11's for your engineering team to review.

Almost exact same issues. Dealer is confident greasing them won't help. Wondering if I should replace the ball joints, or just continue as is.

Are you referring to the Steeda ball joints or your stock joints?
