Advice needed: choosing used setup

Hey guys.
I've found 2 local deals and was wondering if the more knowledge people can smack some sense into my head and talk me out of (or talk me into) spending money. I've trashed one 19" rim already, and blown a tire on one other rim. Bad luck I guess.
So I'm on winter steelies right now, but looking to get some new rims for summer. I've always been a fan of the 20" look. Wanting to lower the car on air ride suspension, but that's not necessary right now. The car handles fine to me, because I'm too ignorant to know any better. I haven't ridden in a well handling car in a while. And I don't track or auto-cross, and afraid that with a static setup, as awesome as they might be, might get trashed on potholes/speedbumps/driveways.
I'm torn between 20" wheels. Or 18" or 19" wheels but as wide as possible in the rear. I like the look and the added traction the wider tire will give me. So of these two options: which will you guys decide?

STR Racing wheels. Staggered 20x10.5 rear 20x9 front brand new, still in boxes. machine finish. Wheels only, no tires. $1200 (Pictures 1,2, & 3)

Or

Wheels are 19x8.5 +25mm, and 19x10 +25mm. They should fit 1994-2004 Mustangs, 350z's 370z's, g35 amd g37. They may fit the genesis as well.
Tires are Michelin PS2's, 95% tread remaining. 3 of the 4 wheels are 10/10, the other is a 9/10 and has a small blem from dropping a wheel nut on it.
Tire size is 255/40/19 on the front and 325/30/19 on the rear. Excellent grip in all summer conditions. $2,600 (Pictures 4-7)

I assume with option 1 plus tires, it would probably cost the same as option 2. Would option 2 even fit? I do enjoy the black look as I kinda had a black and blue theme with the mustang. Thanks so much for reading my long winded posts guys! You are the best group out there.

Regards, Joey.K

I've got the STR setup in charcoal. I went squared and have 20x9.5 35 offset with 275/35. Wheels were way cheaper than $1200. I'm pretty sure I paid about $800.
