You most definitely have one heck of a 2011 Roush/stage 2.. She looks absolutely stunning in Race Red and still looks as though she just came off the showroom floor.. Meanwhile, thanks for sharing an image and also congrats, and welcome aboard

Very sharp! Car is looking great, like new, heck better than new! You would never know it is an 11 year old car model.

How long have you had it? Is there a story behind it?

 

Here’s the story:

I’ve NEVER owned a car, always owned trucks and SUV’S Since I was 16. I’m now 53.
I was divorced from my first wife in 2015. And a while after the divorce I started looking for a car, looked at Mustangs and Corvettes. Before I purchased one I met a girl with 2 young kids and we eventually got married. So I bought her a Lexus SUV instead of buying me a car. So we were married for 1.5 years and had the greatest marriage UNTIL one day she says she not happy and wants a divorce, she told me this on the phone during her lunch break and she never came back home. 2 days later when I was away from home she came with her sister and brother-in-law and cleaned out the house.
I was very depressed and down and out. So the only thing that could make me happy was to go car shopping and get a car like I had planned a few years earlier.

I stumbled on the ad on Marketplace and luckily for me the owner didn’t have an accurate, eye-catching ad.
It was an elderly lady that had purchased the car new. She had it parked in a barn with moving blankets draped all over it. It was the first car that she had bought all by herself. Her name is Sally and all her life everyone called her “Mustang Sally” so after she got a large settlement from a motorcycle accident, she said “I went to buy me a Mustang and they had a 1 a 2 and a 3 for me to choose from. The 3 had race car seats in it and seatbelts that went over both shoulders, so I said I’ll take the number 2,”

so it’s a 2011, original owner with 39,700 miles on it. She still had all of the original paperwork including the original window sticker and all service records where it’s always been serviced at the dealership.

The car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line!

 

Thanks for sharing. You have a very nice find there! Sounds like a near perfect well maintained find. So they had all three Roush's, Stage 1, 2 & 3? What years? Congrats on the new to you car! I think you like it. The Coyote Mustangs are very loved and reliable power houses! The Roush mods have a distinctive functional look that is subtle and stands out from the norm. Wish you the best going ahead. Enjoy the car!

 

They were all three 2011’s I assume. She said they didn’t even let her test drive the vehicle. She never drove it until she had purchased it and drove it off the lot!

 

Guess it must have been new... Too trusting for me.

 

First! Thanks for sharing your story, as I'm very sorry about what your second wife put you through by claiming she was unhappy in your marriage after only just 1.5 years.. You definitely did not deserve being deceived nor betrayed like that for any reason, especially after putting her needs first by buying her that Lexus SUV.. From your description, it seems in my honest opinion, she was a very selfish person who takes advantage of others by using them just in order to fulfill their own selfish needs.. They deceive you by putting on a front, leading you on until they finally get what they want and before you know it "Bam" the truth finally reveals itself.. I've been there and know exactly what it feels like, so your definitely not alone, that's for **** sure.. Just know that in the end, she'll eventually get exactly what's she's got coming as I'm a very firm believer in karma as being a real biotch.. On a lighter note, I'm very glad you were able to come across your 2011 Roush stage 2 you located on marketplace and how well it was taken care of by the previous owner.. After all you've been through, it's very good to know you finally went out and got something for yourself which makes you happy, as you rightfully deserve not to settle for anything less
