Is it me, but does the Race Red Mustang (especially the one in the burnout video) looking more like a Tomato Red? My wife immediately said it looked like a tomato color, and I sorta agree with her.

Anybody else know about the color of the new Race Red for the 2011 Mustang?

i love the race red, especially with the GT/CS. If i wasn't rushing to get my order in i probably would've gotten that instead of black.

edit: i wish they offered tuxedo metallic

 

My Taurus is Tuxedo Black, and I like it. It looks good on the Taurus. Looks almost good on the Fusion. I don't think it would look good on the Mustang. But I sure as hell like the regular old black, and that would have been what I ordered if I hadn't bought the white off the lot.

 

Does Ford have a color called Tomato Red? Or are we just comparing cars to fruits and vegetables now? Does Tomato Red look green in the morning?

It doesn't look like a tomato red to me.

It reminds me of the 65 Rangoon Red that I would like to get my 65 painted in. Then they would both be about the same color.
