Special ordered 2012 Shelby GT500 stripe/Delete car. Thinking about putting stripes on it.

 

Stripes would be nice. I think it adds pizazz myself. JMHO

 

Silver or White?

 

I think I would like silver myself - but both would look nice.

How many other Mustangs (and not just Shelby's) do you see with stripes on them?? TOO MANY. Be unique and go stripe-less...that's especially unique for a Shelby. The car looks great as it is, it doesn't need stripes to compensate for anything.

 

Same here, especially on a Shelby GT500.
I would do a matte black if it were mine. JMHO

I think you're right. I looked up some of the 2012 production numbers and mine is one(1) of 149 without stripes. I think I'll leave it the way it is.

I've seen plenty of other people's cars that I think the stripes look great on, but I've never wanted any on my own car. If I ordered a Shelby, it would be stripe delete.

 

I picked up some Ford chrome wheels this spring they were take offs. I took some recent picture and thought I'd post them.

 

My new to me 2012 CS/GT Race Red 'vert

 

 

 

1st thing I'm doing is removing the white stripes. Comparing different spoilers, scoops, stripes, grilles, etc. Opinions? Taillights and louvres, as well as C/S fascia/splitter were on car already.

 

Thinking Matte black rocker stripes, Cervini quarter "windows", shaker scoop, Boss grille, so far....
