The date on the bottom is the current date! You are right about that, but if you look to the right of it you will see another number with the date along with some other numbers, but you can see the build date. Also on top. Mine is 20110308 Tomorrow!!! Build date Verified with Ford themselves... And that number did change with the delays.

Thanks for the warning. I was going to watch the window sticker (I saved it as a link) and see how the info changes with the closing and delay. It appears to work.

 

Other than the pdf downloaded date at the very bottom of the window sticker, I rarely see data on the window stickers change.

 

I agree. I had it change only once on another car, due to a QC hold and change to shipping status.

 

Well as expected no window sticker even though my build date is 3/14/11.

 

I have been following along with mine starting 2/18/11. Had some delays though.

Were you told the build week was 3/14 before the annoucement of the plant closing? If so, I'd push the date back a week. Otherwise the sticker should be here soon.

 

Not to rain (more) on any-ones parade but when the last shutdown was suppose to be for only two weeks (actual shutdown time, I do not know) my date went from Jan 19 to Feb 15. So take it all with a grain of salt and don't just count on a weeks delay. Hopefully you later guys will see the cars closer to the build date then us with the early build dates.

Well checked again, still not up . This is . My car was supposed to be built this week and I don't even have a window sticker. Stupid plant shut down .

I called my dealer looking to get the new build date and they were useless. Either my sales rep is an idiot or he thinks I am. All he would tell me is the ETA date has move to 3/31/11. When I asked when it was going to be built, he told me "they started building it when we got the Vin#" That was a month ago.

FCS didn't respond to my PM so now I'm in the dark.

Mine is scheduled to be built the 21st of March, no window sticker yet, my guess is Thursday it will pop up

 

I wish you guys would hurry up and get your cars so the Q2 cars can start production on time.

Same boat, only ur better off because you have a build quarter. I don't understand why some people have tons of info and some dealers have none. I'm about to switch my order to a different dealer only because he knows he's got a second quarter allocation and my dealer only knows how to say "I'll get back to you" I'm tired of hearing that!
