WINDOW STICKER IS UP!
I wouldn't sweat it - The way I understand it -- until orders are pulled (when you get serialized and build week), they are unscheduled and on material hold. Your dealer probably looked at your order, saw the only significant option was the recaro seats and figured that is why there is a 'material' hold. He may not be completely familiar with the ordering system.

I don't mess with it as much as I used to, but IIRC it can be "Unscheduled - Clean" or "Unscheduled - Material Hold".
It's been awhile for me too, iirc, 'Clean' was given to technically acceptable orders the zone hadn't allocated yet. So, any dealer can order a Boss, or a hundred Bosses and I think they'll be labeled "clean".
This is what my response was from FCS
Thanks for the info. I was able to check your 2012 BOSS 302 order. It is showing as “Unscheduled-Material Hold”. This means the order is on-hold pending resolution of a production hold for material availability. No further info at this time. Please keep checking with me for updates.

The window sticker is up for the Boss 302 I would have gotten, had my Bullitt sold!
The Bullitt I have is a "rescue Mustang", a theft recovery car that was re-built by Scott Hoag, one of the former Mustang engineers who was responsible for getting the 2001s to market. It has some history to it (see this post).
I had it up for sale since last September and only had 1 interested buyer who declined. I need more time to work on a sale, and it is going to take someone very special who is a Bullitt enthusiast and willing to buy it. I will not dealer trade this vehicle because of the limited value a dealership would offer.
And then there was the little matter of the grabber blue LS at Barrett-Jackson! Seeing that car (not just a design drawing on the Speed TV special) sent me over the edge. I had an Azure Blue Mach 1 and have loved the blue color since.
So for now, it is off the market. I am going to wait for the 2013s also. In the meantime, someone else has taken my order. I will be watching as you and others get them and start making your reviews!

Gold Metallic. Still rue the day I sold that one. Best of luck.

What dealer?
What dealer in Cincinnati were you ordering it from?
Thanks!

What VIN is the first number of the new Bosses?
Are Boss 302s part of the GT serialization or are they unique (referring to the last 6 digits)?
Are the LS and Boss in sequence or are there blocks of LS VINs within the normal Boss designation?
