That's correct. But here's the good news: if there isn't a QC hold (which there doesn't appear to be) then first built will be first loaded.

If it does actually get loaded, expect to see a status change Monday.

Lets hope so, I do not buy into the "first cars get buried in the lot" theory. If you look at the pics the cars are not buried and if you look at a google view you can see the rows have a way out on both ends.

There may be other reasons why some cars ship before others but I think Ford is smarter and has a better system in place then somehow finding cars buried in their own lots.

Is there a way to check status other than emailing FCS or calling our dealers?

4pipes, when I went through this with my Shelby, it was a nightmare. Really, the overall best bet is to hope that your dealer pays attention to his VVS. Other than that, you're stabbing in the dark. With the Shelby, I actually ended up calling Steve Ling (google his name) to finally get some answers with regard to the QC hold and why the car was sitting for 45 days. He was a great help and finally got things straightened out for me.

Other than the dealers VVS, there have been some plant insiders helping out in the past, but I believe that this source has been cut off. Perhaps someone else can contribute.

Thanks, that's helpful.

It depends. I actually work at a plant and it does happen. Space is limited depending on the volume of cars that are being stored -- remember that if Ford runs out of room at the plant itself then they have to rent space at a parking lot not at the plane, provide security and transportation to people to drive them there. I've seen that happen as well.

Last year the cars did get "buried" by poor planning. Let's hope they've had some forethought this year.

PS. What you see in google view wasn't taken when they were waiting for the "OK to Buy" when they had to store a few week's production of cars. The google pic is a normal shot of cars under regular circumstances prepared for shipping.

I was able to find out how to get the dealer name and other info to appear on the window sticker. If you are having trouble seeing it, PM me your number and eMail address and I'll send you back a more complete sticker.

I just discovered that the window sticker for mine is changing with the delays.
The dates and number on the top and bottom are changing from time to time.
Is this reflecting the production date changes and etc. I can see the delays
on mine. Anybody know what the dates and numbers reflect?
