I absolutEly love the boss...love it...and yes an aftermarket tune will void your warrant....but cloud you are really sucking off the track key thing. If you think the track key is the best tune to get you around the track, you are sadly mistaken.

Haha I spoke at length with a Ford Racing Engineering Manager who forgets more than we know every day about this very subject and he said the exact opposite of what you're claiming. To qualify his position, he has 7 or 8 ultra high performance Mustangs spanning 40 years. Until you have data to show, like head to head comparisons, you sound a little ignorant.

Where is your data that proves this? I'm more than willing to review your data and give you the benefit if the doubt. Track Key doesn't void your warranty either. Hopefully it won't kill cylinder #8 either

blah blah blah stuff that voids your warranty only voids it when you take it to the dealer with it still installed.......ie, if i need to go to the dealer, my JLT intake comes off, and my CUSTOM SCT tune is removed and the stock goes back in, then i take it into the dealer for repairs.
If your not smart enough to do this you deserve to get your warranty voided
although i was also told by a freind of mine with a 2003 cobra, the dealer would measure the tread on the back and front tires and void warranties for improper use based on tread wear

Too bad this won't work...ROM ids change. And beside it's dis honest. Try being honest with the dealer and your chances of being helped are MUCH greater!

It's apparent that you haven't read the volumes of pages about flashing the 5.0 in the various "#8 Failure" threads, but the bottom line is they can detect if the car was flashed and/or returned to stock.
