Finally got my SRP aluminum pedals installed. Didn't know if I would feel a grip difference on the grid pattern on the brake & clutch pedals, but I sure can. Worth the effort for sure.

 

Where's the pics??? I've had a set on the shelf for like 2 years. I ordered the anodized striped kind, but the stripe was a sticker (thought it was painted) so I've been hemming & hawing about having the stripe painted as is or stripped & powdercoated first or maybe a heavier duty coating. And every time I make up my mind, I break or wear out something and it goes back on the shelf, lol. Spring maybe?

 

Drove her to the NASCAR race at Dover today. I got a ton of compliments and lots of people took pics of her. I had some guy rev his Audi S5 at me in traffic on the way home. So when I caught up to him I revved him back and he gave me the thumbs up sign!

 

Mine were on the shelf for almost 2 years also. But at least I can use the car stereo build as eating up one years time and effort.

 

Yeah I'm getting those. I got the CDC dead pedal. It's a joke. Barely covers any of the carpet! And $60!!

Went to the Eagles game today and Miss Scarlet was a huge hit! Had to pop open the hood several times and lots of people talking and looking at her today! The workers at the lot I parked in said they will watch over her and make sure she was safe! Here she is with her war paint on! 😄

 

Installed another beta piece for Steve at Blowfish Racing for the BF bracket to try and eliminate the rattle people with the stock shifter get, greatly reduced the cabin noise after install so he is heading down the right path. I cannot speak on specific unfortunately.

 

Wow this cooler weather is gonna get me arrested! I may have been over the posted speed limits a tad! :-)

 

Got a photo speeding ticket in the mail from one of those stupid speed trap vans. 56 in a 45. Not even worth bragging about! : )

the gas cap....well sorry guys its just a vinyl decal...i had it specially made to fit... ill see if i can find an up close of the decal...
i wanted to keep most of the stuff original without changing things too much from original.

still not sure about the tail light trim. do you get many comments on it?

 

actually i did get comments....and most of them were good...from what i heard most said they cleaned up the look of the 10-12 tail lights and mad them look more separated than all one piece. on this car they preferred the matte black instead of chrome or body color.
