I have to say that that one one of the coolest experiences ever. I enjoyed it immensely, certainly the heel and toe exercises were worth their weight in gold. Ford has been great to us by putting this together, and it was really cool to get to meet a group of fellow Boss owners.
It was great getting to thrash around a LS car. Man, do I ever want those dash gauges.
Also, I really missed my MGW. Missed the 3-4 coming down the front straight a few times.
I got to meet PTRocks, who is a great guy. We all own him a thank you for his service in keeping the registry.

two strong recommendations to add to this:
1. stay the second day and drive the west track in an fr500s. great track. great car.
2. Red Iguana - eat there - amazing Mexican food.

Where about is the Red Iguana located? Is this near where you are staying? I have yet to pick a place and after a few beers. You know the rest.

PTR- I was wrong about what I signed the wife up for. It was just the visitor, and not the driver. My memory was bad after the 19 hour drive. She did have a great time, as nobody else seemed to want to ride along, she got to spend alot of time with the instructors during the lead-follow sessions.
fuhrius- we went to the red iguana on Friday, it was a long *** wait, and I was tired, so it was Papa John's instead and early bed so as to get up and make it to Boulder before the Shelby American Collection closed on Saturday.
Stephen, the red iguana is sort of downtown. I had just plugged in the address into the nav.
My thoughts after it was over are 1) I wish I had done a second day, 2) I love my MGW 3) that was one of the coolest experiences in my life. 4) I got to see Ken Miles 1966 Le Mans car at the musemn. That alone was worth the drive, IMHO.

Not that I know of. I didn't ask, which was a mistake of mine. He was great with the reservations.
I sent him an email this morning, thanking him for everything and telling him what a great time it was, and I asked him to tell our instructors thanks.
I would like to have been able to send each of them a personal note, but have no way to email them personally.

Finally did my Boss Track Attack write-up. Thought I would cross-post here, since some of my classmates are subbed to this thread.

That's a lovely writeup. We didn't make the Salt flats, but did stop at the Shelby Collection on the way back.
You know, for the bits across Kansas in traffic running around 70-75ish, I had an indicated 25.7 MPH. It dropped to 23.8 running 80-85ish across Wyoming.

Good info, about to crash out before tomorrow's events at the track attack. Unfortunately for me, I'm in a Miller GT and not a glorious boss, but like anything else, I'm going to make it work and do what I can with it.
