Unfortunately we move topics that don't belong in certain area's, and are more geared for other forums or subforums.

So in other words, post them in the correct forum to not have them moved.

If it has to be done for some reason... I think it would be nice to have a link to where the topic was moved to.

Normally there is a link, however with the traffic, they get lost some times with newer topics pushing the link further down the list and on the next pages.

The reason threads are moved around is because they are not in the proper place when people post them.

The sub-categories at the top of the 2005 thread help better organise all the topics, so that people can look at whatever interests them, like audio, wheels, upgrades for the V8. It helps keep things organised and means not having to go through 200 pages of old threads or use the search feature.

By the way, this thread is not '05 related

moving to Site Feedback and Suggestions :P

Exactly, you wouldn't go to the Dept.Store and look for a set of 255/45ZR18s in the 'thong section'

OK, I'll be brave and be No 2. Virtually every topic I can think of regarding an '05 can fit somewhere else. Want to talk about a ducktail... exterior mods. Want to talk about news on an upcomming Cobra... rumors section. Want to talk about a Mustang feature on TV... tv section. It seems like the only things that can be posted are problems, this is evident by the tone of the board recently. If it relates to the '05 Mustang, I for one, am interested in all the posts about it. That's why I love this board. Thanks to the mods for keeping it clean.

Actually I work at a dept store & you'd be surprised how many people would actually do that. I work at WalMart in the shoe dept & we get people asking about everything from toliet paper to dog food, cake decorations to paper shredders, mini-fridge's to alarm clocks. And then they expect us to show them where they are, take them to the product & answer questions about those products. Or worse yet, our dept is right next to lay-a-way so some people expect us to put lay-a-ways in for them, yet we in the shoe dept are not trained to run any of the cash registers.

Some people are like that. They are dince & can't read signs. Not trying to tick anyone off here, nor are any of my comments directed toward any paricular person. I am just stating how most people are where I work. Angain no offence was ment. Sorry if any was taken.

Cheersmates

Yes, most of the topics are 05 related, but we try to categorize them for people to view them easier, otherwise the 05 forum gets overwhelmed with different topics.

We try to make it easier for people to navigate.

*waves hand*

On to the topic of thread moves. The guys have pretty much covered it. Ya know I dont see how hard it is to place a topic in the subforum it falls under. I asked them to start keeping the 05 section clean for general purpose questions and then moving anything that is direct on a topic to its specific sub-forum. Sorry for the inconvience, but it makes the site much more user friendly. (Also helps searchs run much much quicker).

I'm glad you guys keep the 05 section clean with all the new daily threads popping up. I wonder if alcohol is involved with some of the new threads locations.
