Tranny noise when shifting gears. Normal?

This sucks that the factory couldn't get it right and some Boss owners shouldn't be forced to spend 700$ to upgrade their shaft. I always knew I wanted one in my Boss from day 1, and it was in my garage waiting to be installed before my car was delivered.

That's odd that this fixed it for you, maybe there was movement from the DS and that causes the clunk?

A tech from a local shop thought that's why my problem is too (driveshaft)
