TracKey is here! Those that are installing - please post!
I honestly hope they have a update for a trackey. Engine braking is nice, throttle response is better, launch control is handy, but darn it ,when the general public is next to you in your car and ask to hear Trackey there isn't ANYTHING to show unless they went for ride. My buddy says, Hey I thought its suppose to sound like that video you posted on your facebook, my reply ; Ford Bait and Switch, trickery.. If CARB made changes they should have.been open on anything that was altered.

People we really need to relax about the worries with the warranty. It is going to be very difficult for Ford to say "you blew the this or that because of the tune on the car....that has been approved by CARB....that is backed by Ford (yes I know it is Ford Racing, but do you think they are really THAT separate of entities?)...sold by Ford...advertised by Ford...with a Ford Customer Rep on here saying the same thing....and on and on"
And more importantly it is going to be very difficult to prove any damage is caused solely because of TracKey. Use some common sense in the operation and maintenance of your vehicle and you will have VERY little to worry about...
What is the basis for everyone's worry about this issue? Do we really think the TracKey callibration is this huge ticking time bar? What example in the past are we comparing this to?

Just went for a shove using TracKey. Pulled into our underground garage at work and was caught off guard by the lopey idle as everything's louder inside. I honestly haven't paid much attention to the idle when I've driven it with TK the past week, so today I listened a little more closely. There's definitely a different, noticably lopey idle with TK. I can't tell any difference from what I heard in the initial videos.
The only difference might be the volume based on where they had the microphone positioned next to the exhaust. The other item I've noticed regarding exhaust note and videos is they never sound the same as in person.

Got the car back this afternoon. I took it thru some paces on the street and highway. Initial thoughts are that I like it. Worth the money. It might not idle as lopey and loud as I had thought it would, but I feel the engine braking and it does sound a bit louder and different. Soon the car will be put away, but I hope there will be a day or two in the next week for some spirited driving. Those on the fence and can spare the cash, I would recommend it.

You know since California was so strict on this I am confused why Ford didn't have 2 trackeys. Seriously!
There is a California emissions and there is a standard emissions. I guess there is more to it than I realize.
