I had mine installed as 5 Star Ford in Plano. They had already done a few of them before they did mine. I've been impressed with them since I ordered the car.

Thanks for the info, SneakyE. I'm in Arlington, so 5 Star Plano might be the ticket for me as well unless there is something still closer?

I had mine done at Park Cities Ford on Inwood near Lemmon. They have done at least 10 or 12. If you set up an appointment it takes about an hour. Call 214-358-8851 and ask for Joe Filgo. He's a service advisor and the best dude there. Tell him that Dave sent you.

Bankston Ford South FTW on I-35 and I-20. Done in about an hour. One Tech dedicated to TK installs. Very happy. $425 out the door.

2 questions:

1. do we have to pay for this track key to be programmed?? i thought it was part of the package?
2. can the track key be programmed even if you have under 1000 miles on the car.
it might take me a while to get to that mark if that is what is needed...
can anyone expand further on these questions....

Ill vouch for 5 star ford in plano, they did my trackey without any issues. I also had WAY less than 1,000 miles when it was installed. In fact i've had trackey for a month and I still don't have 1k miles yet.

I had mine done at grapevine ford. I was in there for about 45 mins and it was done. One bit of advice check the charged hours. The had listed 1.5 hours for labor even though they only had the car in the bay for 45 min. When I asked about it they said it was a mistake since with all the other track key installs they removed the plates from the side pipes as well and charge an extra .5 hours for it.

What part of Denton are you in?

Hello SINBUSTER007,

The TracKey programming is not part of the package and it can be programmed at any mileage. Hope you’re enjoying your Boss!
