Yeah, I guess if I was tracking my Boss, I would want the best track hood, and I can see where the Tiger would be in the running. If it was carbon fiber, I think I would like it more.

I would suggest it even just for streeting the Boss, I DD mine and I love the amount of heat that comes out of it. I don't know how much the CF hood weighs less but I have heard that the CF hood needs a ton more blocking to get it flat.

Yeah, you can really see the heat rising out of the engine block. Just another nice element to the overall experience.

My carbon hood weighs 12 pounds and yes it needs a lot of work to make it perfect. If your looking for a show car look, go with the FG.

I went with the FG but didn't have the body shop work on the hood because it's going to get all ****ed up on the track. I have already noticed a crack under the clear, probably from the heat cycles.

Sorry if the answer is somewhere in this thread, didnt have time to read all the posts. I was wondering if anyone found a solution to the windshield wiper squirters since there are no jets on the boss 302s hood.

I have left my car out in the rain, driven in the rain, washed the car including the hood. If you think about it, everything on the motor should be water tight including the electrical connections. So you should have no issues.

We've got a 2013 GT500. Next year, when I'm allowed to spend $ on the car again, I'm getting this hood as well as a 2012 front bumper cover. I prefer the V6 cover but will probably go with the GT cover since it has larger lower grill openings.
I can't wait!
