And huge warnings to LS owners to NOT drive if the road is the least bit wet.

Looks like different tires and wheels from a brembo GT.

Looking at the Ford parts site, it appears that the LS may get an engine oil cooler, along with a unique oil pressure switch/sender.

The standard Boss wears the Pirelli summer tires that are on the Brembo package 2011 GTs. They should be acceptable for street driving in the rain.

The LS tires have very shallow grooves in them, which I expect would diminish their ability to channel water, thus leading to hydroplaning.

The standard Boss is also supposed to have an oil cooler and baffled oil pan to prevent oil starvation. See this article about halfway down under "Bullet Proof and Blower Free". It's in the bullet points:

Did something change with the oil cooler? I also wondered about the oil pressure switch/sender. If the regular Boss doesn't have that, do they include it with the gauge pack? If the switch/sender is already there, you should be able to pick it up on the OBD II port with an Aeroforce CN-Series gauge for about $250.

My guess is the harness for the gauges all can plug into the port. They probably made it easy to install, since so many will be doing it.

Lets hope so. I also think many will be adding the pack including the GT owners. If not for the price I think we would see half the V8's with it.
