I am looking at my Haynes manual and my 2000 gt has them. From 96-04 it seems they all did. But don't quote me as I have not seen the other model years but I have seen them on my model year

The 03-04 cobra's for sure do not. Not sure about the other years. Thought all models except the terminator's had them. Not sure on 05+

Are you saying there is no knock sensor on a supercharged car? They are even more important on a forced induction motor.

The intake on the SC 03/04 Cobra's was taking up a large amount of space in the valley of the engine. Therefore the knock senser mounts were taken out to make room I think. Ford made an exception for that case to not have them. I really want them on the Boss, as that protects that high compression engines.

Interesting. They still listed in the Ford Parts site (see above and below). The listing was generated using a Termi VIN.

Everything I've been told is we don't have them on 07-09 GT500s either. I had a bad tune with too much advance timing that had horrible detonation issues. There was no timing being pulled by the PCM as far as I could tell and no CELs either. At that point, I changed after-market tuners and went with Justin at VMP and had no issues and actually made more power. Most of the GT500 motors that I know about that have blown were due to detonation issues.
