recaro seat question

So when i ordered my boss yesterday the guy asked me if i wanted orange trim inside or white trim inside. i presume he means the embroidered Boss 302 logo on the seats. i told him orange, he called me back later and said you can only get white but i see as many pics with the orange/red lettering as i do white. what's the deal? did early orders get to choose and you only get white now or does the thread color depend on the exterior color of the car?

Grey stitching on the Boss 302 seats.

Red stitching on the Laguna Seca seats.

Congrats on the order, Shane!

What color did you get? Torsen? Car cover?

i ordered competition orange with recaro and torsen. i am not a car cover kind of guy and the car is a DD anyhow (at least it will be when it shows up). i can order those floor mats online for like $100 IIRC so i skipped them and the cover.

Good call. The cover looks cool but I won't use it either so I passed. It can always be ordered later. Looks like you are settling in here quickly.

When I sat in the Recaro's at the dealer they felt a little tighter on the sides then my 370z seats. I'm a little concerned that they won't be comfortable on a long 3-4 hour weekend drive.

I'm not a large guy, buot 5,10 /185lbs, athletic build, anyone have any driving time in these seats yet?

I may go to the track about 4 times a year, mostly a daily driver, but damm those Recaros look so much nicer then the stock seats. just don't want to sacrifice daily drivability over looks. :-(

I already put 1600 Miles on my Boss. 2 Long trips to Ocean City (3 Hours 130 Miles) Same hight and build as you, the seats are fantastic no pinch/hotspots and you wont be wiggling around to feel comfortable

Has anyone else found any broken stitching on the Recaro seat bottom? On my passenger seat there is a broken thread that will spread over time. Sorry, no photo; just picture the issue.

Recaro seats

I sat in the recaro seats this week and they are awesome! No worries! More inportantly is the Torque sensing rear differential! that's the REAL "MUST HAVE" !!
The red/orange stiching is only in the LS model all the base Boss' have the white/Lt Grey stiching.
